Traveling is all about stories. Traveling is all about inspiration. I see myself again looking at my parents travel pictures or reading articles on travel stories that bloggers posted on their website. You will never believe how many hours I spent on the internet, reading articles on these kinds of websites. I see myself again, watching inspiring travel movies while making lists of places I’ll visit someday. You will never believe how many travel plans I made up in my mind. Of course, all of this had a huge impact on me. Naturally, I realized that my life will never be “normal”. By normal I mostly mean working all day long, going back home exhausted and not being able to do as much as I should or would. I strongly believe that this is not what, we, humans are made for. We have so much to see and we don’t know anything about it!
I really started to travel at 19. Back then I was mostly mixing studies and travels, but still, I went to a lot of places. At the age of 22, after traveling all around Europe, I decided to settle down a bit in Prague, the capital city of the Czech Republic in order to earn some more money for my travels and gain some more work experience that might be useful for my future. I found a regular job at an international company, a nice apartment, and everything one might need! But again, all of this was wrong to me. After a lot of work and researches, I created myself a travel website. Like people inspired me in the past, I’m now trying to inspire others as well. On my website I like to talk about the day I lost my phone in Italy, the day I made a tattoo in the Czech Republic or the day I went to Budapest but … My flight was canceled so I had to take a train but that train was blocked 7 hours between two Slovak fields because we got hit by a tree. Yes, I know I won’t change the rules or the world, but people need to realize the opportunity they have to experience many things, visit many new places and meet many persons in their lives. And if I can help with it, I’ll be the happiest man alive. Whether it’s 10km away from your home or 10.000km; you will always have something waiting for you at the corner of a street, or on the top of a mountain… Get a bus, a train or even a plane ticket; get a backpack and a camera! Don’t take it as a holiday, take it as an adventure.
Beside creating a travel website, I also quit my job. In august and after a year of loyal services, I’ll be free of professional duties. My objective to save money has ridiculously failed, but I’m not scared of what coming next. On the other hand, I’m ready for it. I have no idea what will happen, but I know for sure that I will end up somewhere else for new adventures. I’m not scared of the financial insecurity or about my inexistent professional future. This is a choice I made, this is my choice. I’m not saying that everyone has to do the same. No one has to quit everything to take action and explore what is around them. It’s all about what’s in your mind: are you ready to open your eyes and see the world? Do you want to do it in a crazy way or in a secured way? What do you have to win or to lose? Ask you the right questions! If you do this, it’s already the perfect start to for you to change your mind.
