How to eat and exercise without having to think about eating and exercising
Eating and moving your body are fundamental needs for survival. So why does it seem like such a chore? Probably because crap food is easy to get and ironically doesn’t require much moving. How to make this seem less like a chore? Easy peasy lemon squeezy. Figure out what your body needs and set the intention to do things that make your body feel good. Emphasis on the feel, not just taste. That’s not to say that healthy food shouldn’t taste good, but it suggests that there are other factors at play to consider. We all have different bodies that respond differently to medicines, so is food any different? Both get broken down into molecular compounds and used by the body in some way. Just like you have favorite season, your body also has a preferred eating and moving patterns. For some people that eating eat meat, for others it’s not eating gluten, or even completely raw plants. Now you don’t have to go to such extremes if you don’t feel comfortable but try experimenting with what you put in your body to see what feels right. Keeping a quick journal or vlogging to make note of how you feel after a meal or sweat sesh: confident, energetic, anxious, happy, drained? Being mindful of how your body is feeling the first step to aligning with your own internal compass. Once you understand what feels right for your body eating, healthy and moving your body will become a natural part of your day.

It helps you be and feel your best. Your confidence and natural energy sky rockets.
The same old exercise routine or weekly class can get boring. When you get bored your brain naturally shifts its attention to new more stimulating things. To mix up your workouts, do it with a buddy and be playful. Head to a local park and see what you can use to create your own jungle gym workouts. A friend will keep you accountable, push you harder, and think of more creative workouts. Plus you have one other person swinging on monkey bars with you and not look like a creeper. Try doing everyday things with more pep and creativity. Pretend like there is lava on every other step on the stairs and step on every other one instead of one at a time. The possibilities are endless!
Don’t be afraid to try something gross or fall on your face. The worse that will happen is you throwing up or embarrassing yourself. Two things that literally everyone in human existence has experienced and overcome.
