Want to travel the world? Do it while you can!
Our world…what a beautiful unique place! Nature, wildlife, architecture, cultures, people – everything that surrounds us has a huge impact on how we live our lives, how we socialise and ultimately how we spend our leisure time and take a break from our demanding daily routine and stressful job.
Travelling is like having a second job, where you have to learn a lot from those you meet, balance your finances so that you spend less and see more and taking risks at certain levels, for if you never try you never know. Travel can be extremely rewarding from many points of view; you just have to know how to use it to your own advantage.
I never thought I would be able to travel as much as I did already, so I consider myself extremely fortunate to have explored new ways of living and enjoying life at its best. For me, travel has opened a door towards multiculturalism, new friendships, enhanced knowledge and unforgettable moments all captured in very precious photos from all around the world.
Travel has no age, therefore no limits! I think we should all feel encouraged to let our minds and bodies run free and enjoy a priceless moment in time. There are so many places I’ve been where you are in complete and utter solitude and where the song of nature is the only thing you hear and where you feel like your life could stop for a minute or two. There really are no words to describe the beautiful places I’ve seen and the wonderful experiences I’ve lived.
If you want to travel the world, then this is the right time to do it because as time passes you will probably find a million excuses not to do so. A regular daily job, running errands and all the other commitments you have could be a great obstacle, but you can always work around it and make it work in your favour. If you can’t commit to traveling great distances, then I suggest you start with short trips around the area where you live as I am pretty sure there are lots of things to discover everywhere you go. A ‘staycation’ may just be all that you need to take your mind of things, relax, unwind and spend time with the people you love most and people who deserve your time and attention.
Don’t let routine drag you in a vicious circle from where it’s hard to come out. Escape while you can and make travel a soul companion. It has never been easier to travel than it is nowadays and we should be grateful for the opportunities we are given.
Take a chance and travel and I will assure you that you won’t regret it!
I absolutely love traveling and cherish every minute of my journey towards unknown places. Travel changes your perspectives and makes you more passionate about living life to the full and enjoying the moment. For me, it all started a few years ago and now I can’t live without a short break or a holiday. I have travelled with my husband to so many places, that sometimes I even lose count of where we have been. I enjoy going places with him and the time we have spent together is priceless. Memories and good times are things that hold us together as human beings, enriching our future.
At first, we had no idea what to expect and at times we were wondering if to try out things we don’t know or never heard of, but we did and I don’t regret it. You might find it more difficult at the beginning as travel arrangements do require time and effort and a lot of details need sorting out, but in time you will find that all becomes a lot easier and as you become familiar with different procedures it is actually fun booking flights and accommodation and arranging transport or booking trips while you are on holiday to go and visit places.
We always try to get the best deals possible, so the money stretches a bit further and gives us the chance to explore more and experience more. Flights are very accessible to people nowadays and they offer thousands of destinations all over the world. The best time to book flights is when airlines have massive sales, in January for example, but not only as throughout the year you will have more chances to book flights at very reasonable prices. The airlines we use most are EasyJet, British Airways and Norwegian and they have proved reliable with excellent service and pleasant journeys. But of course, there are a lot more options on the market well worth looking at depending on where you want to go and what time of year you are planning to travel as some flights may only be available in the winter season for example for skiing holidays.
If you are looking for great accommodation and you are on a budget, then I recommend you use Booking.com and Hotels.com as you will not be disappointed and there is such a vast range of accommodation that I’m sure it will please anybody. We have confidently used them over the years and never had any problems with any of the places we have booked and, in addition to that, we have met lovely people, helpful staff, kind and friendly hosts and made new friends. It doesn’t have to cost you a fortune to go somewhere, have a good time and explore the beautiful world around you.
Isn’t that what travel is all about? Somebody once said: ‘People wait all week for Friday, all year for summer, all life for happiness…I travel.’
So I would like to encourage you to take on a new adventure, be bold and try out something you’ve never done before, don’t be afraid of the unknown, just let your mind and body run free enjoying every minute of your travels as those moments will never be the same again and never come back as they did that instant.
